All Guidelines — 22 sections
Auxilot is open to individual sellers, registered businesses, licensed dealers, estate executors, and institutional sellers. All sellers must meet the following baseline requirements before listing any lot.
Business sellers (dealers, estate agencies, auctioneers, equipment resellers) are subject to additional verification. Contact seller-support@auxilot.com to begin the business seller onboarding process.
Auxilot is required to verify the identity of all sellers to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and to protect the integrity of the platform for buyers.
Documents Required
Submitting false, altered, or fraudulent identity documents is a criminal offence and will result in immediate permanent account termination and referral to the appropriate authorities.
The following parties are not permitted to sell on Auxilot under any circumstances.
If you believe your account was restricted in error, contact compliance@auxilot.com with supporting documentation. Auxilot will review all appeals within 10 business days.
Every lot listed on Auxilot must be owned outright by the seller or listed with documented legal authority to sell on behalf of the owner. Listing property, vehicles, or assets to which you do not hold clear title is fraud.
Listing items you do not own or have authority to sell will result in immediate listing removal, account suspension, and where applicable, reporting to law enforcement.
The lot description is a binding representation of what you are selling. Buyers place legally binding bids based on your description — inaccuracies, whether deliberate or negligent, are your liability.
Required Information
What is Not Permitted
The following categories of items are absolutely prohibited on Auxilot. Attempting to list any prohibited item will result in immediate listing removal and may trigger account suspension.
Absolutely Prohibited
Restricted — Pre-approval Required
To apply for pre-approval on a restricted category, submit your request and supporting documents to listings@auxilot.com before creating your listing.
Auxilot enforces minimum photography standards to protect buyers and maintain the quality of the platform. Listings that do not meet these standards may be rejected or delisted.
Review the Auxilot Photography Tips guide for detailed best-practice guidance by lot category — from vehicles and property to art, antiques, and equipment.
Sellers have full control over their starting bid and reserve price. Understanding how these interact is essential to running a successful auction.
Starting Bid
The starting bid is the lowest amount a buyer can place as their first bid. It is publicly visible. A low starting bid typically attracts more early bidders and can generate competitive momentum — but it does not obligate you to sell below your reserve.
Reserve Price
The reserve price is the minimum you are willing to accept. It is confidential — buyers see only whether the reserve has been met. If the auction closes without the reserve being met, you are not obligated to sell.
Buy-Now Price (where offered)
Where the Buy-Now feature is available, the price must be set above the reserve and represents a fixed price at which any registered buyer may purchase the lot immediately, ending the auction.
Once a listing goes live, your ability to edit or withdraw it is intentionally limited to protect bidder trust. Plan your listing carefully before publishing.
Withdrawing lots to avoid completing sales to the highest bidder is a serious violation. Repeated withdrawal without cause will result in listing suspension.
Shill bidding — placing bids on your own lots, or arranging for associates to bid on your lots to artificially inflate prices — is fraud. Auxilot employs automated and manual detection systems to identify bid manipulation.
Confirmed shill bidding results in permanent account termination, voidance of all affected auctions, and referral to relevant consumer protection authorities. Buyers harmed by shill bidding are entitled to remedies at the seller's expense.
When an auction closes with a winning bid that meets or exceeds the reserve price, a legally binding contract of sale is formed between the seller and the winning buyer. Completing the sale is not optional.
Refusing to complete a confirmed sale without valid cause is a breach of contract. Auxilot may pursue recovery of buyer losses from the seller, suspend the seller's account, and publish the non-performance on the seller's profile.
Sellers are responsible for making lots available for collection as stated in their listing. Buyers are responsible for arranging and bearing the cost of any transport or delivery — Auxilot does not operate a delivery service.
Delivery of lots to buyers is arranged and funded entirely by the buyer at their own cost and risk. As a seller, your obligation ends at the point of physical handover from your stated collection location.
Auction sales on Auxilot are generally final. However, buyers have the right to raise a dispute if the lot materially differs from its description. Sellers must engage with disputes promptly and in good faith.
Valid Grounds for Buyer Disputes
Seller Response Obligations
Ignoring or stonewalling disputes will result in Auxilot ruling in the buyer's favour by default and recovering the refund from any proceeds held on the seller's behalf.
Auxilot charges sellers a commission on the hammer price (the final winning bid) of each successfully completed sale. By listing on Auxilot you agree to these fees.
Auxilot reserves the right to update the fee schedule with 30 days' notice. Continued listing after the effective date of any fee change constitutes acceptance of the new schedule.
Seller proceeds are held by Auxilot in escrow upon buyer payment and released to the seller once handover is confirmed. This protects both parties and facilitates dispute resolution if needed.
Standard Disbursement Timeline
Holds and Delays
To update your disbursement account details, visit Settings → Payment & Banking. Changes take effect on the next disbursement cycle after a 48-hour security hold.
Sellers are solely responsible for understanding and fulfilling their own tax obligations arising from sales made on Auxilot. Auxilot does not provide tax advice.
Consult a qualified tax professional or your national revenue authority for guidance on your specific obligations. Auxilot's transaction records are available on request if required for tax filings.
All communications between sellers and buyers on Auxilot must be conducted through the platform's messaging system. Off-platform communication to circumvent fees or dispute processes is not permitted.
Soliciting buyers to transact outside the Auxilot platform — to avoid fees or circumvent buyer protections — is a serious violation and will result in permanent account suspension.
Auxilot operates a transparent, two-way ratings system. Buyers rate sellers after each completed transaction, and this feedback is publicly visible on your seller profile. Your rating directly affects buyer confidence and your listing visibility.
The best way to maintain a strong rating is simple: list honestly, communicate promptly, and complete every sale as described. Sellers with ratings above 4.5 receive a Trusted Seller badge visible on all listings.
In the course of completing a sale, sellers receive personal information about buyers (name, contact details, delivery address). This information is provided solely for the purpose of completing the transaction and must be handled responsibly.
Misuse of buyer personal data is a violation of platform policy and may constitute a criminal offence under applicable data protection law.
Auxilot enforces these guidelines to protect all participants on the platform. The severity of consequences scales with the nature and frequency of the violation.
Minor Violations
Serious Violations
Critical Violations — Permanent Termination
Sellers who believe a policy action was applied incorrectly have the right to appeal. Auxilot is committed to fair, transparent enforcement.
While an appeal is under review, any listing suspension remains in force. Approved appeals result in full reinstatement with no record against the seller's account.
These guidelines are updated periodically to reflect changes in legislation, platform capabilities, and market conditions. It is your responsibility as a seller to remain aware of the current version.
